Communication Components Inc. Tower Top Amplifier (TTA) system improves the sensitivity of base stations in locations where there is a significant amount of cable loss between the antenna and the base station. The TTA system is available for single or multi-sector configurations with one, two, or three branch diversity systems. The tower top amplifier is packaged in a single, compact, tower mount, NEMA 4X moisture proof enclosure. An indoor rack mount unit is also available to provide all the necessary voltage and alarm monitoring functions.

The tower top amplifiers are available in full duplex, half duplex, and simplex arrangements for SMR, PCS, and Cellular operating frequencies. All TTA’s are provided with built-in lightning surge protection, full LNA redundancy or bypass configuration and built-in alarm and monitoring functions.
