Outdoor AWS Band CDMA/LTE Tunable Antenna Sharing Combiner (TASC)
TASC1721VG11AO
CCI's Outdoor AWS Remote Tunable Antenna Sharing Combiner (TASC) combines AWS Band CDMA and LTE uplink and downlink signals onto a single feeder. The downlink signals from the CDMA and LTE BTS ports are combined onto the antenna port without the insertion loss normally associated with passive combiners, or the cost or power consumption of active combiner solutions. A remotely tunable filter allows the LTE downlink signal to be placed anywhere in the AWS band. The CDMA downlink path passes all frequencies except the LTE frequencies and a narrow guard band. As LTE bandwidth increases, the TASC can simply be retuned to eliminate the cost of reinvesting in infrastructure. BTS ports are fully isolated to minimize intermodulation distortion. The uplink signals are routed from the antenna port to both the CDMA and LTE BTS ports. Both uplink paths have excellent noise figure and variable gain to compensate for losses normally associated with passive splitters. The variable gain in both paths is remotely controlled via ASIG. This outdoor unit is pole mounted (mountable), as the Rx portion acts like a tower mounted amplifier (TMA).
